Have you not heard? The Arab Fashion Council (AFC) and Dubai Design District (d3) collaborated to create the official Dubai Fashion Week to establish Dubai as a global fashion capital. The new fashion calendar’s debut show will take place on March 10-15.
Dubai Fashion Week, which will feature men’s, women’s, ready-to-wear, and couture collections, will be the region’s premiere fashion event, striving to promote new business prospects between buyers, businesses, and talent.
The occasion will solidify Dubai’s status as one of the world’s four fashion capitals, along with Paris, Milan, London, and New York. The emphasis is on five primary pillars in order to become a major worldwide center for fashion and creativity. These include D.U.B.A.I. (Diversity, Unity, Business, Aspiration, and Innovation).

Regional markets will serve as a conduit for global businesses and talent to keep expanding their global reach, giving regional designers the chance to network and do business with international distributors and buyers.
Regional and worldwide designers like Jean Paul Gaultier, Moschino, Iris Van Herpen, Bouguessa, Amato, Bhype, and The Giving Movement are scheduled to appear at the opening show. There will also be a ton of events taking place all around the city in the run-up, including runway shows, conferences, exhibitions, pop-ups, festivals, and seminars.
